Media personality Betty Kyallo on Friday, May 3 announced that she would be returning to the screens following her latest move to TV47.
In a statement on her Instagram page, Kyallo noted that she was joining the station as a news anchor.
She will be in charge of the Friday edition with the show named, 'This Friday With Betty'. The show is expected to be a replica of the show she hosted at K24 some years back.
At the time, she would anchor the Friday news bulletin and then transition to an entertainment segment hosting artists, politicians and other notable personalities.
"After close to four years. I'm back. TV47 is now my home. I can't wait to see you my lovely audience.
"This is my favourite stage! I missed it. Yaaaay! See you soon. The show is "This Friday With Betty" Big Surprises coming. Grateful to God," she stated.
The exact date when she will be joining is yet to be known.
Notably, Kyallo is joining TV47 days after Kenyans.co.ke established that Willis Raburu was exiting the station after six months.
Apart from heading the digital department, Raburu hosted an entertainment show, the Wabebe Experience, on Fridays. The show was a replica of his earlier show 10 Over 10 on Citizen TV.
Raburu's exit also came days after the Wabebe Experience show took an abrupt seasonal break.
Cape Media is yet to name Ruburu's replacement at the digital desk.
