President Uhuru Kenyatta received unexpected feedback on his social media accounts moments after making a press address on Thursday.
The President's briefing centred on the ongoing political party primaries with a stern message for politicians in his Jubilee party.

What, however, seemed to have angered some social media users was the President's choice of delivering the address at State House.

Others expressed discontent with the new security measures the President had announced. Uhuru indictaed that police would be spread all over the country during the nominations and that any politician caught causing chaos would be disqualified.
Supporters of the Opposition weighed in on the conversation to instead share sentiments on the National Super Alliance (NASA) meeting at the Bomas of Kenya which was happening concurrently with Uhuru's address.

Kenyans also reacted to the President's remarks on recent reports that suggested he had a preffered candidate for the Nairobi Governor seat.

Some of the President's followers, however, lauded him on the address.
