Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko's daughter was on Sunday rushed to hospital following a minor accident as she was playing.
The Senator, who is on a tour of the Coastal region to mark the festive season, divulged that his daughter had lost one of her toenails during the incident.
Sonko took to social media posting photos of the young girl on a hospital bed while he was standing beside her.
The Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant in the 2017 General Election added that his daughter had fortunately been treated and discharged.
“So painful: What a sad day to start the new year! My daughter while playing with colleagues lost one of her toe nails, was rushed to hospital, treated and discharged,” he stated.
He further urged Kenyans to join him in wishing the young girl a quick recovery.
