In what appears to be a love triangle of teenagers gone horribly wrong, standard eight boy from Rarieda, Siaya county is believed to have stabbed another boy to death.
He suspect, 14-year-old allegedly got into a fight with a form two student over a girl and drove a knife into the older boy, killing him instantly.
The unfortunate incident which took residents by shock, occurred in East Asembo Location, Citizen News reports.
After the grave assault, the minor tried to flee the scene but angry resident caught him and started beating him up.
Police arrived at the scene and rescued the child from the angry mob.
The body of the victim was taken to Madiany Sub-County hospital mortuary for postmortem.
The suspect on the other hand was taken to Aram police Station.
