Terryanne Chebet Acts as Master of Ceremony at NASA's Bomas of Kenya Meeting

Former Citizen TV journalist Terryanne Chebet raised eyebrows on Thursday after being spotted in the National Super Alliance (NASA) meeting at the Bomas of Kenya.

The former news anchor was the Master of Ceremony (MC) at the event which was held to welcome Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto as the fifth co-principal in the Alliance.

At the event, Terryanne welcomed the NASA leaders to address the gathering beginning with Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero.

The former news anchor was actively seen moving and coordinating happenings around the dais and passing the microphone to various NASA leaders.

The NASA team was expected to make a major announcement as the country continues to await the Alliance to name its presidential flag bearer.

However, during the forum attended by hundreds of party supporters, ODM leader Raila Odinga expressed his joy in having Ruto in the Coalition maintaining that he would fight for devolution within the outfit.

He added that Thursday's event was the beginning of a series of events that NASA intends to launch in the next two weeks.

He further maintained that the principals would soon unveil its manifesto which he said would be a contract between them and the nation.

NASA's National Coordinating Committee on Wednesday divulged that the Alliance already had a flag bearer who would soon be announced.

However, many expected that the major announcement set to be made today was regarding the Opposition's candidate who would take on President Uhuru Kenyatta in the August 8 General Election.
