The body of a 26 year old man has been found floating on River Perkerra in Baringo County, after a long search for the man by his family.
The deceased who was a farm worker in the area had gone missing over a week ago.
Reports indicate that he had gone to meet a friend but the family did not see him again, until a herder discovered his body in the river.
The body was taken to Eldama Ravine Hospital Mortuary.
Meanwhile in Muranga County, the body of a woman was found dumped in a river at Maragi area.
The woman had last been seen on Saturday night walking out of a pub.
Preliminary reports suggest that the woman could have seen killed elsewhere and the body dumped into the river.
Police the in respective areas have launched investigations into the two incidents.
