VIDEO: Cow Gets Drunk, Nurses 4-day Hangover

Shock engulfed locals at a village in Bungoma County when a cow got drunk after gulping a traditional brew commonly referred to as busaa.

The cow in a drunken stupor fell and remained in the same position for four days, a situation that greatly surprised the villagers.

It is reported that the cow drunk 40 litres of busaa that had been prepared for a celebration in the village.

The cow owner stated that he was concerned when he found it lying down and unable to move, adding that they tried to lift it but their efforts were futile.

He then decided to seek help from a veterinary officer who came to rescue the cow from the four-day hangover.

The animal medic said that the busaa had high alcohol content hence he administered drugs to lower the content in the cow's blood.

The cow is now recovering from the effects of a drinking spree.
