Police are hunting down six gangsters after they were captured on CCTV cameras robbing a high-end home in Kitengela.
According to the recording, the thugs traced the owner of the house on a motorbike as he drove from work on Wednesday at around 8.47 pm.
In the clip aired on NTV, two of the armed robbers, who alighted from the motorbike, are seen sneaking in the compound while pointing their pistols on the man of the house as he tries to park his vehicle.
In a separate camera placed inside the house, two other gang members are captured making their way in the living area, where two children are watching television as the mother prepares dinner.
Still holding their firearms, the thugs are seen picking every valuables that meet their eyes while the mother and her daughter fearfully lie on the floor.
Moments later, the two thieves who were outside keeping watch, are seen escorting the owner of the house while directing him upstairs where they found his licensed gun.
According to the man, the thieves did not manage to get huge sums of money from him as he only had Sh7.000 in his wallet. He added that after they found the pistol they seemed satisfied with their mission.
Sadly, the security guard manning the home tried to counter the thugs but was shot in the process.
Police are now in possession of the CCTV recording and are profiling the faces of the thieves.
