VIDEO: Uhuru Fixes Gun for Officer in Parade

President Uhuru Kenyatta on Friday surprised many Kenyans when he picked a gun magazine and fixed it on an officer's firearm, during the passing out ceremony of Administration Police (AP) graduates.

Kenyatta was inspecting a parade mounted by the fresh officers at the AP Training College in Embakasi, Nairobi, when he noticed that one of the officers had dropped his magazine.

The President took his time, picked the cartridge holder and put it back where it belonged as the officer remained stiff as if nothing had happened.

Officers leading Kenyatta stopped and gazed at him rectifying the hitch before rubbing his hands after which he proceeded with the inspection.

At the ceremony, President Kenyatta warned the graduates against engaging in corruption, saying that war on graft was sweeping across the service.
"Consider whether you will fight on the right side when the rule of integrity is finally realised," Kenyatta asserted.
