Villa Rosa Kempinski Appoints Kees Heuveling as New General Manager

The luxurious Villa Rosa Kempinski Hotel has announced the appointment of Mr Kees Heuveling as the new General Manager.

Mr Heuveling, a hospitality expert with a career spanning 30 years, has replaced Mr Manish Nambiar who moved to the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast in Accra, Ghana.

Prior to his appointment in Kenya, Heuveling served as the General Manager at Kempinski Hotel Cathedral Square in Lithuania, Southern Europe, for three years.

He was also the GM of Kempinski Hotel N'Djamena in Chad for three years, Hotel Manager at Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi and Kempinski Hotel Ishtar in Jordan.

The Dutch national, who has worked in among other countries Germany, France, Holland, Great Britain and China, has a 10-year experience working with Intercontinental Group of Hotels (IGH).

Addressing the press at Villa Rossa Kempinski on Thursday morning, Mr Heuveling announced that his number one priority is to maintain the 5-star deluxe hotel's status as the market leader in Kenya.

“We will train our staff members and make them offer quality services to our clients so that they can give them the best experience,” the new General Manager stated.

He also made it clear that as the country heads towards the General Election, they will remain politically neutral and offer services to all their clients.

The new General Manager maintained that he believes in delivering results and offering the best to clients.
