A woman in Kajiado County was brutally attacked after she supposedly announced that she would be vying for the Kajiado Senatorial sit in the 2017 General Election.
Eunice Leshunet claimed to have been roughed up by her husband after telling him that she was going for the Senator's seat.
"This da brutality I got from man I called father to my kids after declaring my candidature for senatorial seat come 2017. I thank God am live n strong. This will not stop me from achieving my dreams. I need every one prayers," Ms Leshunet posted.
On December 30, 2015, the woman took to her Facebook account to share an image showing her damaged face allegedly caused by the brutal assault.

Kenyans on Social media sympathised with Ms Leshunet, urging her seek legal action.
It is not clear whether Ms Leshunet sued her husband for the alleged attack. However, three days later she came out to thank Kenyans for supporting her. Ms Leshunet shared another image showing she had recovered from the facial injury.
