A woman in Ngong stabbed her lover in a jealous fit for hugging her friend.
The two had allegedly been out drinking when they decided to pass by the woman's friend's place.
According to Nairobi News, after the friends hugged in greeting the man went in for a hug from his girlfriend's friend, much to her (girlfriend) displeasure.
The woman's friend insisted on shaking hands but the man, intoxicated with drink insisted on the hug.
Nation Fm reports that the girlfriend took a knife and stabbed the man on the side of his chest.
The man was rushed to hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
The two women were taken to the police station as investigations begin.
