Controversial gospel musician Willy Paul on Friday caused confusion among his fans after he posted photos where he allegedly wedded Jamaican reggae sensation, Alaine Laughton.
The gospel musician claimed that the wedding took place last weekend but failed to disclose the location.
"God is good, I know I've kept it a secret until now!! I finally did what most men are afraid of doing. Yes, I did it last weekend. I'm no longer a bachelor.
"My Family You Amaze Me With Your Quick Assumptions and predictions ...I Know The Problem Is That I Didn't Show My Newly Wed Wife's Face ....Here She Is ...Yesss!!! Alaine Said Yes....Habari Ndio Hio," Willy Paul wrote on his Instagram Page.
However, a source privy to the matter later revealed the two did not get married legally but were working on a song that is scheduled to be released next week.
A section of the public who did not know about the video shoot expressed shock at the news.
