Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko’s daughter, Saumu, has insulted ex-fiance and father of her unborn child, Ben Gatu.
In an emotional post on her Instagram account, Saumu confirmed that she had broken up with Gatu, who she described in unprintable words.
Sonko’s daughter hinted that infidelity could have caused them to go their separate ways.
“I'm just too young to go through such bullsh*t of a man moving from one politician’s daughter to another for his selfish benefits,” the post read in part.
The local media had speculated that the couple, which had been enjoying celebrity status, had ended their partnership.
Saumu and Gatu captured the country’s attention after they pulled a stunt by flying in a chopper to a harambee event in Kigumo Constituency.
In his posts on Instagram, Ben had given the impression that he was in the process of starting a family.
However, his former fiancée denied the existence of a family: “Just to clear the air, I was never married. I am a woman who realized her worth before it was too late,” Saumu clarified.
