IEBC Announces 41,000 Permanent and Temporary Jobs

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) is seeking to employ 41,940 staff, some of whom will be on permanent employment while others will he hired temporarily.

The temporary staff will offer support to the poll body's team during the 30-day period for verification of the voters' register set to begin on May 10 and run until June 9.

IEBC is looking to hire permanent job holders in the following areas: 1 Constituency Elections Coordinator for Kasarani, 30 County Information Communication Technology (ICT) Officers and an administrative assistant for Dadaab Constituency.

The commission will also recruit temporary job holders in the following positions: 290 ICT Clerks (one in every constituency), 1,450 Register of Voters Verification Assistants (one in every ward), and 40,200 Voter Verification Clerks (one in every polling station).
