Commuters Eject Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua's Supporter from Matatu

A man was forced out of a matatu after openly declaring his support for Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua.

In the undated video that has been widely shared on social media, a man is seen engaging in an argument with two women who are allied to Machakos aspiring governor Wavinya Ndeti.

Speaking in their native Kamba language, the two women urge the man to alight because he is a traitor and majority of the commuters support their sentiments.

"What is Chap Chap? You look like Nyenze.

"Alight from the matatu. We can refund your fare," said one of the women.

The man, in his defence, says he was talking about 2022 but not even this spares him the wrath of the commuters.

The women quickly interject asking why he is disrespecting Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka.

"Why are you disrespecting Kalonzo? Wavinya is the governor. You cannot disrespect our leader," they reiterate.

The other commuters then ask the conductor to refund the man his money and let him alight because of disrespecting women.

Leaders in Ukambani are a disjointed lot after major fallouts within the Wiper Party led to a section of them openly declaring their support for President Uhuru Kenytatta.
