Manchester Utd Coach Gunnar Solskjær Accepts Good Luck Gift From Kenyan Fans

After being eliminated from the UEFA Champions League, Manchester United Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjær was given a belated good luck gift by Kenyan fans during a post-match briefing, on Wednesday, which he accepted.

The gift - a Maasai stick - was presented to Solskjær by a journalist who claimed to have been in Kenya recently where fans asked him to give it to the Red Devils Coach.

"I just came from Kenya and there are a lot of Manchester United fans there and they really wanted me to give you this gift, a stick that will bring you a lot of luck in the future. If it is okay with you, I'd like to give you this gift?" the journalist posed.

A low spirited Solskjær graciously accepted the gift stating," We have fans all over the world who wish us the best, so thanks. Thank you very much."

On the match's results, the coach expressed his disappointment in the team's performance after the 3-0 loss to the Catalans at the Camp Nou.

“There are lots of fans all over the world for Man United. Of course, we are disappointed tonight. That is the big thing that we’ve not really managed to put a very very good team for the cup,” he divulged.

When asked about Barcelona's chances after the match, Solskjær stated, "I think Barcelona will win yeah. With the quality they have in the front three. They've got Dembele and Malcom, players there to put on.

"I wouldn't bet against them, even though I don't bet. But for me they will be favourites to win the whole tournament,” he added.

During the First Leg of the Quarter Finals at Old Trafford, Manchester United lost 1-0 making the aggregate 4-0 after yesterday's match.
