Watch Sonko's Wife Outmanoeuvre Other Drivers on Highway

Sundays, for many Kenyans, make for family time - a time to bond and spend time together before the beginning of another week.

An outing can be well spent having lunch at a restaurant, visiting the aunties and cousins or a quick drive outside Nairobi.

This is how Nairobi Governor, Mike Sonko, chose to wind up his weekend with a drive to his Mua Hills farm in Machakos.

He, however, was in the passenger seat as the Nairobi First Lady, Primrose Mbuvi, took charge at the steering wheel.

Sonko, in his part, seemed pleased to have his wife take the wheel during the journey.

"Nimekaa bila kuwaenjoy. Niwangapi huenda na family wakibebwa na mawife zao. (It's been a while. How many people enjoy having their wives drive the family on trips?" he wrote.

As Sonko focussed on filming the journey, Primrose was busy focussing on the road keenly following another car in the convoy.

She didn't let the camera distract her as she sang along to the song playing on the radio.

Primrose manoeuvred on the road seamlessly swerving and overtaking other drivers in trailers and personal cars with ease on the dual carriage road.
