Former Milele FM presenter Felix Odiwuor, popularly known as Jalang'o has broken his silence after being accused of staging outgoing Kiss FM presenter Andrew Kibe's ouster.

Speaking on Tuesday, June 30, on his popular Bonga na Jalas channel,  the outspoken personality sought to clarify that he had nothing to do with the exit.

Without ruling out the likelihood that he could take up a spot at the Radio Africa owned station, Jalang'o noted that Kibe was his friend and that the latter exited the show on his own volition.

"I am trending at number one today. The reason why, Andrew Kibe who is a very close friend of mine, has resigned. How I am trending is because I caused Andrew's firing. so sad.

"I was asleep and when I woke up, I found myself trending at number one. I have just spoken to him and he told me he disagreed with the station," he stated.

"Kiss FM is where I started. Guys, I did not know Andrew had left the station. Every other person claiming I can't take over Kiss FM, that is where I started," Jalang'o added.

In an exclusive phone call to Kenyans.co.ke, Kibe confirmed that Tuesday was his last day at the station after he tendered his resignation three months ago.

Kibe who is known for his hard-hitting advice stated that he had a great run at the station and would now focus on his brand on digital platforms.

After announcing his exit, fans of Kibe trooped to Twitter accusing Jalang'o of being behind his ouster with the aim of landing the spot.

Some went as far as to claim that he could not level up with the English standards that Kiss FM has meted on its stars and is known for countrywide.

The speculations were fired by Jalang'o's initial confirmation that he was set to reunite with his colleagues at Radio Africa which owns Radio JamboKiss FM and Classic 105.

"I might end up on Waiyaki Way. I had an amazing meeting with Patrick Quarcoo (Radio Africa CEO) who is my friend, boss, the first person who ever gave me a contract.

"Put aside NRG Radio, I think I may end up with where it all began. Which radio, Kiss, Classic or Jambo? I don't know," he stated at a past live broadcast.

Mutoko and Jalang'o used to co-host a morning breakfast show at Kiss FM (then Kiss 100) Before the latter left to join Standard's Radio Maisha
