Popular media personality Felix Odiwuor alias Jalang’o, has hinted about reviving the on-air experience he offered Kenyans on radio together with his friend and former colleague Alex Mwakideu.

During his interview with Mwakideu on Wednesday, July 15, Jalang’o asked Mwakideu whether he was open to collaborating again.

The Milele FM presenter stated that he did not foresee another opportunity to work with Jalang’o on radio again .

He added that they would only reunite on television or on Jalang’o TV on YouTube.

“If any other radio offered me a job to host with you, I would not accept the offer. If anyone is thinking about it let them know it is not possible,” he stated.

Jalang’o then suggested that the two could work together on his YouTube platform, asking Mwakideu whether he was ready.

“I’m ready, let us do it. We can collaborate on TV but not radio, that ship has sailed,” the Milele FM presenter answered.

The two reminisced about their journey in media having worked together at Radio Maisha before reuniting on Milele FM.

Mwakideu credited himself for helping Jalang’o build his radio skills while the comedian joked that he helped his colleague gain popularity.

Jalang’o was first to leave Radio Maisha where they both agreed that their pay was not commensurate with their performance. They claimed that since they had built Radio Maisha to become the best in the country, their salaries needed to have been increased.

When Jalang’o got an offer to join Jeff Koinange at Hot 96 FM, he took the opportunity. Mwakideu would later land a job at and seemingly convinced Jalas to join him despite the supposed hefty pay he was getting at the Royal Media Services-owned station.

Speaking about Kiss FM, the comedian stated that money was not a factor. He was glad to go back to the station that gave him his first radio job.

Mwakideu also spoke about his future after Milele FM, where he is mentoring MCA Tricky to take over after him.
