The management acknowledged the concerns which arose after the video that was shared on social media for the better part of Sunday 21 which implied that the patient was alive and there was no medical practitioner on site to attend to him.

They also said that they were sorry for the unfortunate event and would be offering any support needed as the investigation continues.

“We sympathize with the family, friends and those associated with the patient and are continuing to offer our full support including through counseling, as they try to come to terms with this sudden loss,” the statement reads.

Additionally, the statement emphasizes on the hospitals effort to continue providing and making health service affordable to all people regardless of their conditions.

However, the hospital said that they shall proceed with additional investigation and any further comments will only be made after a valid conclusion about the matter has been reached.

Earlier on Sunday morning, March 21, a man shared a video on social media where he and his alleged family members were heard questioning how the doctors could abandon his father yet his was still alive.

“Nobody is attending to my father, nobody is attending to him. He is still at the entrance but you are saying he is dead. How long has he been here? Will he die here?” The man asks in tears.

An unidentified voice could also be heard telling the man that they will take him in soon, but the video does not show what happened next after the bitter exchange.

The management is urging the public to remain calm as they continue to find out what exactly transpired at the entrance of their hospital.
