A report by Business Daily on Wednesday, July 28, indicated that 75 students had sued Technical University of Kenya (TUK) over the quality of degrees.

The graduates argued that they have been jobless since they received the degree certificate in 2011 as they are not recognized by the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK).
In his ruling, High Court Judge Justice James Makau sided with the students and directed TUK to pay the students Ksh15 million of which each student will receive Ksh200,000.
Kalonzo’s Wiper Party Gets The Highest Share of NASA Funds
ODM leader Raila Odinga agreed to give the affiliate parties Ksh153 million, retaining Ksh334.6 million of the funds.
Wiper Party led by Kalonzo Musyoka will receive Ksh70.4 million of the funds followed by Musalia Mudavadi’s Amani National Congress (ANC) which will receive Ksh43.8 million of the shareable funds.
Moses Wetangula's Ford Kenya will receive Ksh36.04 million of the funds.
Isaac Ruto's Chama Cha Mashinani (CCM) will receive the smallest share of the funds. The party will receive Ksh3.08 million of the money.
Late Billionaire's Family Face Arrest Over Kshs 4B Property
The widow of the late billionaire Lawrence Nginyo Kariuki is facing arrest alongside his six children over a fallout in the management of the Ksh4 billion estate.
A report by Daily Nation on Wednesday, July 28, indicated that the seven are on the radar after they were accused of meddling in the estate before they were granted permission to run it.
They were accused of withdrawing Ksh70 million from one of the bank accounts before the case was heard and determined.
After hearing the case, Justice Stella Mutuku noted that the family was now at risk over the withdrawal since the will was still contested.

ODM leader Raila Odinga's relationship with President Uhuru Kenyatta has definitely unsettled politicians, with William Ruto, his major rival for 2022 reportedly being thrown out in the cold from within Kenyatta's circle.
Rumours of Kenyatta forming a coalition with Odinga have been rife as Odinga and Kenyatta allies insist the duo will be part of the government in 2022.
Ruto's camp has also been insistent with their proclamations that Odinga has to go home after four unsuccessful bids to State House.
With the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) providing a platform to test new waters ahead of 2022, and a looming referendum which may create changes in the constitution and government, Odinga has a chance to foresee who among a few leaders he may choose as a running mate against DP Ruto.
The leaders include KANU Party Leader Gideon Moi, former Council of Governor Chair Wycliffe Oparanya, Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho, Kirinyaga Governor Ann Waiguru, and Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua.
Ksh750 Million Released to Ekeza Sacco Victims
Members of the embattled Ekeza Sacco received Ksh750 million shillings in refunds in an out of court settlement.
Members got their refunds either as cash or land depending on what they requested.
Jimmy Kagoni, the acting Chief Executive Officer, told journalists that the Sacco was still going to complete compensating all members adding that there were assets in Mavoko, Kilimabogo and Joska that were yet to be distributed.
The sacco was previously run by controversial Kiambu clergy, David Kariuki Ngare, popularly known as Bishop Gakuyo.
