A picture showing Uhuru Kenyatta receiving a black and white TV many decades back caused a stir online.
The picture, which was shared by Sonko, provoked a gush of admiration from many commenters, many citing the show of the humility of Kenyatta in the photo.
"After seeing this photo of our President receiving a TV as a gift nimejua kweli the sea does not reward those who are too anxious, too greedy, or too impatient...........What if you gave someone a gift, and they neglected to thank you for it - would you be likely to give them another? Life is the same way. In order to attract more of the blessings that life has to offer, you must truly appreciate what you already have," Sonko.
Its not clear the circumstance surrounding the photo- scanty details. But it's an assumption the bearer of the gift was quite taken by the son of Jomo. There could be no better gift at the time than a Black and white 14 inch TV.
