Dorcas Wanjiku Rigathi is the wife of the Deputy President of the republic of Kenya Geoffrey Rigathi Gachagua.
Wanjiku rose from humble beginnings (she used to work as a househelp) to become Kenya's second lady.
She started her education at Mugumoi-ni Primary School in Nyeri County before joining Alliance Girls High School. However, due to unexplained reasons, Dorcas left Alliance and went on to complete her post-primary education at St. Francis.
Dorcas passed her O-Levels exams with flying colors and got admitted to Kenyatta University, where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in education
The mother of two once worked as a banker before quitting the job to focus on family business and serve God as a pastor.
