
Liz Aluvanze is a prime example of beauty and brains, blending the qualities of a top Kenyan aeronautical engineer, businesswoman, aviation consultant, and corporate executive.
She has served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Kenya Association of Air Operators (KAAO) since September 2022.
The association brings together operators of helicopters, fixed-wing aircraft, hot air balloons, remotely piloted drones, approved aviation maintenance organisations, and approved aviation training institutions in Kenya.
In terms of education, Aluvanze attended the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Aeronautical Engineering.
She later transferred to Cranfield University, also in the UK, where she completed a Master’s in Air Transport Management. During the 2019/2020 academic year, she furthered her education by obtaining a Certificate in Project Management from the University of California, Irvine.
In 2024, she received the Excellence in Achievement Award from Cranfield University, where she earned her Master’s degree.
Aluvanze is celebrated as one of the leaders with a visionary approach, which has enabled Kenya to make an indelible mark in the aviation industry, further ensuring the country remains a pivotal player in the global aviation arena.
