Ndindi Nyoro is a Member of Parliament representing Kiharu Constituency.
The legislator was re-elected to the position after winning with a landslide in the 2022 general polls. He is the only MP to retain the seat since Kenneth Matiba.
Ndindi is a staunch ally of President William Ruto and is part of the Head of State’s inner circle.
Nyoro has consistently been ranked as the best-performing MP in the country for three consecutive years.
He is currently the Chairman of the Budget and Appropriations Committee in the National Assembly.
The MP is also popular for proposing a landmark bill that sought to have those convicted of corruption face stringent punishment, including execution.
The MP was introduced to politics while studying at Kenyatta University where he was a student leader.
He would later clinch the Kiharu MP seat in 2017 on a Jubilee Party ticket.
Away from politics, Nyoro is the largest shareholder in Kenya Power with his shareholding at the power utility firm pegged at 32.5 million shares.
He is also the Managing Director of Investec Capital, a stock brokerage and wealth management firm.
