Fosi Mplole Hamis best known by her stage name Trisha Khalid is a Mombasa-based actress born and raised in the Coastal city.
She is also a commercial model as well as an Instagram influencer with over 680,000 followers.
Before venturing into professional acting, Khalid used to perform funny skits on TikTok which garnered traction.
However, what really catapulted her into national limelight was starring in Maisha Magic East's telenovela Kovu.
Khalid credits her acting career to Citizen TV's Lulu Hassan who invited her to star in the Maisha Magic show.
Hesitant at first, Khalid declined but later accepted the role. This would lead to a nomination as the best lead actress in the 2020 Kalasha Awards.
She is currently one of the lead actresses in the famous local soap opera, Becky, aired on Citizen TV television every weekday during prime time hours and on Saturdays afternoons.
Aside from acting, Khalid is a successful entrepreneur and runs a salon called Tees Beauty Salon. She is also the owner of Trendy Collection, an online boutique store.
