• 6:38 pm The Social Health Authority (SHA) has assured over 9,000 healthcare facilities that verified claims will be processed and paid in two phases - the first on July 14 and the second on July 21.  
• 6:15 pm Kenya Power has revealed that consumers are categorised into three tariff tiers based on their average monthly energy consumption, which affects the number of units they receive each month, even when paying the same amount.
• 5:55 pm The Ministry of Health has directed all healthcare facilities in the country to update their actual bed capacity with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC); this comes days after the ministry cautioned hospitals against overadmitting patients.
• 5:33 pm The Business Registration Service (BRS) has urged individuals who started a business registration application between 2017 and 2024 but did not complete the process to do so before 14 August, when all incomplete applications will be removed.
• 4:41 pm The government has revealed that a team of researchers from South Korea’s Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS), is coming to Kenya to conduct a survey involving the youth, mostly Gen Zs.
