Vilcom Networks Limited was ranked sixth in broadband service provision by the Communication Authority of Kenya (CA).
The company's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Agnes Limo noted that the ranking was a testament to the growth of the company in the broadband service sector.
She underpinned that the achievement was a result of collaboration between their dedicated staff and their customers across the country.
"In rural areas, Vilcom Networks is actively bridging the digital divide by expanding network coverage and infrastructure. This initiative empowers rural communities with access to essential services such as telemedicine, agricultural information, government services, and online learning platforms. This, in turn, contributes to socio-economic development and enhances overall quality of life," read the statement in part.
The company offers home internet connection services with speeds ranging from 10Mbps to 60Mbps.
