In a meeting with the executive leadership of the Cape Media house held at the Talanta Plaza headquarters, CS Ababu noted that his ministry was keen on replicating the successes of the #TalantaHela program.

"The name TV 47 and Radio 47 sync well with our plan to roll out this program to all the 47 counties and am sure that we will leverage your countrywide audience to showcase to the Kenyan people the rich talent pool that exists," he noted.

During the meeting, the founder and Chairperson of the Media House, Simon Gicharu noted that the media house would work in collaboration with Mount Kenya University to ensure the success of the show.

“We know that we have the right apparatus to produce and execute this project to international standards," Gicharu stated.

Cape Media was launched in 2017 and later moved to launch its TV station, TV 47 in 2019.

Since its inception, the media house has been on a growth streak after later starting its radio station Radio 47.

Additionally, the station has been on a poaching streak for some of the big names in the media industry in an effort to boost its ratings.
