Company Puts 42 Cars on Auction for as Low as Ksh60,000

Nairobi auctioneers Onyango and Tarus on Monday, October 28, announced a tempting car auction with vehicles going for as low as KSh 60,000.

In a list published in local dailies, the company listed tens of cars of different models hosted across different yards ranging from Nairobi to Nyahururu to Bungoma.

A majority of the cars on sale are going for a comparatively lower price than their market value, with potential buyers being urged to submit their bids by Tuesday, November 5.

The cars in storage are of different models, including Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Mitsubishi Volkswagen, and Isuzu.

Perhaps the most unique vehicle on auction is a 2009 Porsche Cayenne, which is going for Ksh1.9 million, nearly 40% cheaper than its market price of Ksh3 million.

The cheapest car on auction is a 2005 Toyota Voxy, which is going for Ksh60,000 - a fraction of the car's market value of KSh 600,000.

Meanwhile, the costliest car on the list is a Toyota Landcruiser, which is going for Ksh3.4 million in a Mombasa Road car yard.

Other tempting cars on auction include a 2004 Toyota Town Ace going for Ksh160,000, a Honda Stepwagon going for Ksh1.05 million, a Toyota Succeed being sold for Ksh264,000, and a 2001 Mitsubishi L200 going for Ksh250,000.

Buyers looking for off-road vehicles also have a range of cars to choose from, including a 2014 Toyota Hilux, going for Ksh1,552,000, a 2010 Toyota Vanguard going for Ksh1,139,000, and a Toyota LandCruiser going for Ksh1,503,000.

As per the notice, vehicles are sold on an 'as is' basis, and potential buyers have been urged to make their bids through the website www.eezycars.co.ke.
