Two auctioneers have announced the auctioning of more than 160 unclaimed items, including motor vehicles, motorcycles, cows, and bicycles that remain unclaimed in 5 different police stations.
In a gazette notice dated April 25, 2025, the Windsor Auctioneers and Makys Auctioneer announced the auctioning of the items which are at Spring Valley Police Station, Athi River Police Station, Mogotio Police Station, Subuiga Police Station, and Kilifi Police Station.
The Windsor auctioneers said that they will auction 25 motorcycles lying at the Makongeni Police Station within 14 days if the owners fail to claim them.
The motor vehicle brands include Toyota Crown, Nissan Matatu, and Toyota Hiace, while the motorcycle brands include Boxer, TVS, Shinery, Bajaj, Honda, Ranger, and Skygo.
The auctioneers further said that they will auction 21 motorcycles and one Mercedes-Benz, which is lying at the Spring Valley police station, within 14 days if they also remain unclaimed.
The motorcycle brands include Honda, Bajaj, Dayun, Yamaha, Sunrise, Premier, Haujin, TVS, Kingbird, and assorted bicycles.
Windsor further said that it will, within 30 days, auction 8 motor vehicles and 12 motorcycles, which are currently at the Athi River Police Station.
The motorcycles include Lion, Skygo, TVS, and Boxer, while the vehicle brands include Nissan AD, Got Burnt, Toyota Mark II, Toyota Raum, Toyota Premio-Corona, Toyota Premio, Mazda Demio, and Nissan Caravan.
The auctioneers further said that they will also auction 26 motorcycles, of which 6 are scrap, 15 assorted bicycles, and 2 burnt motor vehicle shells lying at the Mogotio Police Station within 14 days from the day of publication, if they also remain unclaimed.
The motorcycle brands include Boxer, TVS, Focin, Kingbird, Commuter, and Kaboom.
The Macks Auctioneers, on the other hand, announced that they will auction two motor vehicles, 31 motorcycles, bicycles, and one Frisian calf lying at the Subuiga Police Yard within 30 days from the day of publication if they remain unclaimed.
The vehicle brands include a Probox and Prado, while motorcycle brands include Captain, Tiger, Shinnery, Chingchen, Tiger, Sonelink, Dayun, Skygo, and Yamaha.
Lastly, the auctioneers further said that in the next 14 days, they will auction 22 motorcycles and a tuk-tuk.
The motorcycle brands include Zongshen, Haujin, Boxer, FHM, and TVS.
