The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has officially released the results for the March 2025 Business and Technical examinations.

In a circular issued on Thursday and signed by KNEC Chief Executive Officer David Njengere, the council directed all heads of institutions that offered the examinations to collect the results from the Mitihani House, South C Offices.

According to the notice, institutional heads can collect the results during official working hours, between 8am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.

“The Kenya National Examinations Council wishes to inform all Heads of Institutions that offered candidates for the March 2025 Business and Technical examinations that the results are officially released and ready for collection,” read part of the circular.

KNEC was firm that only institutions that have cleared their examination fee arrears will be allowed to collect the results.

“Institutions with examination fee arrears are expected to clear before the collection of the results. Penalties will apply for those institutions that do not comply,” Njengere stated.

In addition, KNEC urged school heads to verify their students’ results and raise any issues within a specified time frame to avoid penalties.

All result-related queries must be made online through the heads of institutions and should be submitted to KNEC within thirty (30) days from the date of release.

KNEC warned that queries received after August 22, 2025, will attract a penalty of Ksh5,000 for each case raised past the deadline.

“All queries should be lodged through the online platform—the Query Management Information System (QMIS)—using the link: ,” the notice added.

The March series is one of the key sittings in KNEC’s calendar and involves hundreds of institutions offering courses in business, technical, and vocational training across the country.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, KNEC directed teachers, parents, candidates, and other interested parties to purchase official copies of the 2024 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination question papers and marking schemes, which it said were now available for sale at the KNEC bookshop located at its South C headquarters.
