Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) is among state agencies that have announced job vacancies in various categories, including the re-advertisement of a Commissioner position.
The Authority, on October 28, announced that it was looking to hire an Assistant Manager for the Business Projects Portfolio, an Assistant Manager in Cloud Architecture and Technology Platforms, a Business Application Support Supervisor, a Supervisor and two Software Developers.
All interested applicants were urged to submit their applications via the KRA website before November 17, 2025.
KRA has also re-advertised the job vacancy for the Commissioner of Investigation and Enforcement, which was originally posted on June 17, 2025 and was due to close on July 7. The closing date for applications for this position has now been extended to November 18, 2025.
Candidates who already applied for the commissioner role were advised not to reapply, while those wishing to update their previous submissions should do so.
"Kenya Revenue Authority wishes to notify the general public that the job vacancy advertisement published on 17th June, 2025 on MyGov, inviting applicants for the Commissioner position, has been cancelled."
"Please Note: Those who had earlier applied need not reapply. However, candidates who wish to update their earlier submitted applications may do so through a new application,” the statemen read in part.
How to Apply KRA
Interested candidates were urged to visit the KRA website at kra.go.ke to view the full job descriptions and specifications.
Once on the website, navigate to the Careers section and click the 'Register' button to begin the application process.
After registering, applicants will receive an email enabling them to confirm their email address and complete their registration.
They should then log into the KRA portal using their username and password and click on 'Log in' to access their account. After successful login, the system will open the 'Applicant Cockpit'.
On this page, navigate to the 'Candidate Profile' tab and click 'My Profile' to create and update your profile.
The process will end by clicking the tab ‘Overview and Release’. "Kindly note that all mandatory fields must be completed," KRA stated.
95 Positions at ADAK
In a separate advertisement, the Anti-Doping Agency of Kenya (ADAK) announced 95 job vacancies across various departments.
The vacancies included 35 Doping Control Officers, 20 Anti-Doping Educators, 10 Blood Collection Officers, and 30 Chaperones, who will be engaged on an as-needed basis.
According to ADAK's Finance Policy, remuneration for these roles will be provided upon completion of each assignment.
Applicants were asked to visit the careers section under the Opportunities tab on the ADAK website to review the duties, responsibilities, and requirements of these positions.
All applications had to be submitted on or before November 18, 2025.
