The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has announced over 250 job vacancies in various categories, including graduate trainees, urging potential candidates to apply.
According to KRA, it is looking to hire over 200 individuals as graduate trainees, 50 drivers, a data centre operations officer, a knowledge management officer, and a data integration personnel.
In a notice published on Tuesday, August 19, the Authority also revealed that it was seeking a security tools operations officer, a business application support officer and a revenue assurance officer.
The Authority clarified that an applicant must be results-oriented, self-driven, dynamic and experienced with high integrity for the aforementioned positions.
How to Apply
To apply, interested candidates were urged to visit the KRA website at kra.go.ke for full job descriptions and specifications.
Upon accessing the website, navigate to the careers section and click on the ‘Register’ button to start the application process.
After registration, an applicant will receive an email enabling them to confirm their email address and complete their registration.
After registration, an applicant should then log into the KRA portal using their username and password, then click on ‘Log in’ to access their account. After successful login, the system will open the ‘Applicant Cockpit’.
On the ‘Applicant Cockpit’ page, the applicant should navigate to the tab ‘Candidate Profile’ and click on ‘My Profile’ to create and update their profile.
The process will end by clicking the tab ‘Overview and Release’. "Kindly note that all mandatory fields must be completed," KRA stated.
Requirements
As per the notice, successful candidates would be required to submit a valid certificate of good conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
They must also submit a valid clearance certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) and a valid tax compliance certificate from the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA).
Additionally, the applicant will be required to submit a current report from an approved Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).
The Authority further directed that applicants must submit their online applications before September 8, 2025, for consideration, adding that only shortlisted candidates would be contacted.
KRA also underscored its commitment to affording equal employment opportunities, stating that members of all ethnic groups and persons with disabilities would also be considered.
"People with disabilities, the marginalised and the minorities are therefore encouraged to apply. KRA does not charge any application, processing, interviewing, or any other fee at any stage of the recruitment process," KRA announced.
