The Ministry of Education, through the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD), has published a list of approved curriculum support materials for Grade 10 learners.
The document, published on Tuesday, December 23, outlines learning resources approved for use in senior schools, marking a huge step in the implementation of the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC).
In the senior school, learners will take seven learning areas comprising four core subjects, including English, Kiswahili, Core Mathematics and Community Service Learning (CSL).
Learners will then be allowed to select three other subjects based on their career aspirations, abilities, interests, and aptitude, guided by their teachers.
