The Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) has announced the release of the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) and Kenya Intermediate Level Education Assessment (KILEA) performance reports.
In a notice on Tuesday, January 13, KNEC indicates that parents whose children sat for the KPSEA examinations will be required to visit the KNEC 2025 KPSEA Results portal to access the performance reports.
Once inside the portal, parents will be required to enter the candidate's assessment number and at least one name.
After that, parents will be required to accept the privacy and access notice, and then search for the reports.
On the other hand, KILEA candidates will be required to get performance reports from their respective institutions.
According to the council, schools can access the individual learner performance report through the Competency-Based Assessment (CBA) portal.
"The 2025 KPSEA and KILEA performance reports are ready for access by schools and candidates," KNEC stated.
"Congratulations to all the candidates! KNEC is committed to Quality Educational Assessment and Credible Certification," it added.
The KPSEA examinations, which took place from October 27 to October 30, 2025, were meant for grade 6 learners and are part of the Competency-Based Education (CBE).
The KILEA examination, meanwhile, targeted at learners with special needs at the intermediate level, ran from October 27 to October 31, 2025.
A total of 1,298,089 candidates were registered to sit for the KPSEA in 2025, while 1,130,587 sat for the KILEA.
These exams are particularly critical in measuring the progress of learners under the CBC, to guide their transitions to the next grades.
