National Super Alliance (NASA) flag bearer Raila Odinga has vowed to expose a new mega scandal in the Jubilee government.
Speaking to Nairobi ODM aspirants at City Hall, Odinga stated that he had details of another saga similar to the NYS, Eurobond and Afya House scandal which he would unearth next week.
Odinga, however, did not give details of the dossier which he intends to release.
“We have had the Eurobond scandal, National Youth Service (NYS) scandal, the Afya House scandal and lately the price of maize flour, which has gone up beyond the reach of many,” he stated.
The ODM leader was addressing a charged meeting of aspirants and losers of the recently concluded nominations which saw various leaders defect to vie as independent candidates.
At the same time, he defended the Orange party's election board which faced accusations of bungling the primaries shifting the blame to a section of the aspirants.
The NASA presidential candidate further accused the Jubilee government of causing the chaotic scenes witnessed in the polls by pushing for the nominations to be held at the same time.
He noted that the law barring leaders from party hopping also complicated the situation because nominations in some areas were viewed as the final elections.
“Jubilee brought the legislation by force to Parliament because it wanted to curb party hopping. This is what created all the mess because party nominations this time round became more of elections,” he stated.
