Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria on Sunday attacked Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula over his decision to defend his Senatorial seat.
In a Facebook post, the vocal legislator termed Wetangula as the Biblical Moses after he handed over the mantle to 'Joshua' who he compares to Opposition leader Raila Odinga.
According to Kuria, the Bungoma Senator copied the Biblical Moses when he sacrificed his presidential bid in favour of Raila (Joshua).
"Dear Moses Masika Wetangula. First, you gave up on your Presidential ambitions and handed over the mantle to Joshua. Nothing new or odd for a Moses to hand over to a Joshua,"Kuria posted.
The legislator went on and attacked Wetangula for accepting non-existent jobs and being cheated to defend his Senatorial seat only for the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party to field a candidate against him.
"They promised you a goat gizzard in the name of Deputy Premier CS or whatever that inexistent nonsense means. Then they sent you to defend your Bungoma Senatorial seat. Now they have also cleared Boniface Wayne Nyongesa to run against you on an ODM ticket," Kuria stated.
Mr Kuria further noted that ODM did not appreciate Wetangula stating that the term coalition principal used when referring to the Senator was only ceremonial and that he (Wetangula) could only be a secondary school head.
"Jameni. Raila gives a direct ticket to Evans Kidero, James Orengo even Tom Kajwang but still sends someone to vie against you. And you still call yourself Principal? Pengine wa Sirisia Girls," Kuria opined.
