Hardy Police Station in Karen

This topic was trending after a third-year Multimedia University of Kenya student was arrested by police on suspicion of assembling an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) at the University premises.

Speaking to Kenyans.co.ke, the University's Student Leader, Robin Boit refuted claims that the student identified as Joseph Kamau, who was detained at Karen Hardy Police Station, had assembled an IED.

Boit noted that the student specialises in Film Animation and was using the equipment, which had a computer motherboard with capacitors connected to it, as part of his class project.

Malelei and Kulan in Garissa

This topic was trending following an incident where five Administration Police (AP) officers died and one got injured after a vehicle they were travelling in ran over an improvised explosive device (IED) between Malelei and Kulan in Garissa.

According to the dictionary, bodaboda means a type of motorcycle or bicycle with space for a passenger or carrying goods, often used as a taxi.
