Deputy President William Ruto's wife Rachel Ruto on Saturday caused mixed reactions on social media after she posted her images dressed in Butere Girls School Uniform.
Mrs Ruto who is an alumnus of the school located in Kakamega County had visited the institution for an alumni mentorship weekend.
The Second Lady who is an advocate for women's rights and women's empowerment. interacted with the students, planted a tree and laid a foundation stone for the construction of the school's multipurpose hall.
Social media, however, went abuzz when Mr Ruto posted images dressed in the school uniform.
Some people were impressed while others thought the move was pretentious.
