Wavinya Ndeti Accuses Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua, Bernard Kiala and Senator Johnstone Muthama of Attacking Her

A day after former parliamentarian Wavinya Ndeti was barred from contesting for the Machakos Governor seat, she has named three Ukambani leaders who she claims are orchestrating the events against her.

Ms Ndeti claims that Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua, his deputy Mr Benard Kiala and Machakos Senator Johnstone Muthama are plotting her downfall.

Speaking on Friday morning, the former Kathiani Member of Parliament alleged that she has concrete evidence of the involvement of the three in her current woes.

"I have evidence that proves Kiala, Mutua and Muthama are the ones doing this to me. If anything happens to Wavinya, it is because of them and they will be answerable. They are the ones who don't want me to be governor," she accused.

She also called on her supporters to remain calm as she was certain the matter would be resolved.

"I am not shocked at this and I know that the issue will be resolved because I am not a member of two parties. I ask all my supporters not to panic and remain calm as the issue is sorted because God is on our side," she urged.

Meanwhile, Ms Ndeti's Lawyers are reportedly working on an appeal to challenge the IEBC Tribunal's decision to disqualify her.

Ms Ndeti was barred after the Tribunal heard a petition from Wamunyu Member of County Assembly (MCA) Kyalo Peter Kyuli where he claimed that Ndeti is a member of both the Wiper party and her own party, the Chama Cha Uzalendo party.
