Kitui Senator David Musila and Kitui West Legislator Francis Nyenze Drum Support for President Uhuru Kenyatta

A section of leaders from Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka's backyard led by Kitui Senator David Musila and Kitui West legislator Francis Nyenze over the weekend vowed to support President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Senator Musila and the leader of Minority in the National Assembly, Nyenze, praised President Kenyatta and the Jubilee administration for a job well done in their plan to empower special groups.

The leaders singled out Jubilee’s projects to empower the youth, women, the disabled, vulnerable and general development as outstanding.

The minority leader urged the residents to avoid electing leaders on a party basis but vote for those with development track records."

"If someone is worthy, vote for him regardless of whether he is an independent candidate,” Nyenze said.

Senator Musila urged residents to elect President Kenyatta despite his party.

“I support Nyenze. Vote for me as an independent candidate, elect President Kenyatta without minding his Jubilee party. Uhuru’s development record is 'visible for those with eyes to see and audible for those with ears to hear',” Musila stated.

The Kitui Senator further stated that he was running for the gubernatorial seat to 'bring hope and satisfaction to the disillusioned Kitui people'.

“Enlightened voters have the responsibility to ensure that they are offered the best possible opportunity to thrive in their youth and to maximise their productivity as professionals. This can only happen if we have an ethical, conscientious proven leader as governor. Elect me in August to address these and many issues at hand,”  Musila stated.

The leaders were speaking at  Kauwi Primary School grounds, Kabati in Kitui West constituency where Youth and Gender Affairs Cabinet Secretary Sicily Kariuki launched National Youth Service Programme

Ms Kariuki warned the opposition against politicising government projects stating that the Jubilee regime had done a lot in the last four years.

“We have done roads, connected majority Kenyans to electricity, improved the health sector and built the SGR among other flagship projects. All we ask for is another term to deliver even more,” she stated.
