Two people- a matatu driver and a passenger died on the spot in an accident along Nairobi's Jogoo road.
The 6: 30 pm accident took place when a matatu and a mini bus collided head on at Hamsa.
The minibus was headed to Embakasi while the matatu was headed to town.
Witnesses say the mini bus was trying to avoid hitting a vehicle at the junction to Buruburu when it rammed into the matatu.
Several other people who sustained injuries were rushed to Metropolitan Hospital, where they continue recuperating.
