2 Directors of Troubled Land Buying Company, Kihiu Mwiri Shot Dead

Two directors of the controversy riddled land buying company, Kihiu Mwiri in Murang'a County have been shot dead.

A tweet by Nation Breaking News indicates that the deaths bring the number of the company’s officials killed in less than 2 years to 8.

The string of killings of directors of the company allegedly began after officials got into a row over the subdivision of the company’s land.

According to Citizen Tv, five officials have also vanished following the row.

Early July the family of Patrick Kariuki, a director at Kihiu Mwiri reported him missing at a police station.

NTV reported that his burnt car was found in Limuru and six days later, his family had yet to find him.

Kariuki had spoken to Citizen Tv a week before his disappearance raising concern over the targeting of the company’s officials.

The families of the deceased and missing directors are worried that they may never find answers to what happened.

Reports indicate that to this day, no one has ever been arrested or prosecuted over the killings and disappearances.

UPDATE-The Inspector General of Police, Joseph Boinett on Thursday summoned the directors and staff of the company to the CID headquarters by 9am Friday.
