Narok Leaders Blame DP William Ruto After Defecting From Jubilee To NASA

A section of Maasai leaders has revealed that the Deputy President (DP) William Ruto made the community to decamp from Jubilee to National Super Alliance (NASA).

Led by Narok North Member of Parliament (MP) Moitalel Ole Kenta, the leaders revealed that the community had no problem with President Uhuru Kenyatta but his deputy who pushed them out of Jubilee.

“The Maasai community in Narok had no problem with President Uhuru Kenyatta until his deputy started meddling,” Kenta stated.

They disclosed that Ruto's frequent interference with the County's politics, his failed development projects and the Mau forest issue had made the community move to NASA where they believe that their interest would be catered for.

“Jubilee should forget Maasai votes because the community has made a decision to join NASA and support presidential candidate Raila Odinga. That is where we believe our interests will be well catered for,” he said

The leaders were speaking at a campaign rally in Oloropil which brought together Narok county gubernatorial aspirant on Orange Democratic Movement Joseph Tiampati’s running mate William Semeiyoi, Narok Woman Representative Rebecca Tonkei and aspirant Lydia Masikonte of Chama Cha Mashinani (CCM).

The rally was also graced by ODM Oloropil MCA aspirant Wilson Murguyia who launched his campaigns.

They also blasted the DP and Leader of Majority in the National Assembly Aden Duale for allegedly insulting them during their recent tour of Narok.

“Even if you make 100 trips to Narok, Jubilee will not get votes here because we are decided to back NASA.” the leaders affirmed.
