11 people have been injured have been injured following an accident that occurred at Salgaa area on Tuesday morning.
Speaking to Kenyans.co. ke, Nakuru Redcross Coordinator confirmed the incident stating that the accident occurred after a 14-seater matatu from Nakuru Town collided with a lorry at the Salgaa blackspot.
According to the Coordinator, 7 out of the 11 casualties were critically injured whereas 4 had slight injuries.
The victims were rescued by officers from the National Transport Safety Authority (NTSA), Red Cross and Kenya Police and taken to the Rift Valley Provincial Hospital.
According to Kenya Redcross, the accident occurred at around 11:00 am.
Salgaa area is considered a black spot as many accidents have occurred there in the past.
