Mutahi Ngunyi Advises Fred Matiang'i After Being Appointed Interior Cabinet Secretary

Political analyst Prof Mutahi Ngunyi on Sunday sent a message to Fred Matiang'i urging him to be himself in order to succeed as the Cabinet Secretary (CS) for Interior and National Coordination. The position was left vacant following the death of Joseph Nkaissery.

In his weekly address, the Fifth Estate, Prof Ngunyi asked Dr Matiangi not to try and fit into Nkaissery shoes stating that they were too huge for him to fit in.

"Do not try to fit into Nkaissery's shoes they are too big, instead bring your own shoes and because your methods work, use them and God be with you," the analyst noted.

The Prof also urged Matiang'i to adopt Murphy's law which states that anything can go wrong and will always go wrong.

"Mr Matiang'i expect nothing and this is how God will use you," he stated.

In regards to the death of Nkaissery, the Prof noted that he was nor persuaded that the Late CS died of natural causes.

According to him, the death of the CS was surrounded by too many coincidences creating suspicions that he was assassinated.

"In my view, Nkaissery was assassinated. Some say he was probably sick and I say the easiest target for assassination is a sick man.

"in my view though, Nkaissery was not sick. If he was sick, the time of his death was suspect. This man was not sick he was assassinated," he stated.
