Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho Hosts Harambee Stars Captain Victor Wanyama

Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho over the weekend hosted Harambee Stars captain Victor Wanyama for dinner at his home in Nyali.

Wanyama, who plays for English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspurs was accompanied by his brother, former Parma midfielder Mcdonald Mariga, his mother, some of his siblings and friends.

Joho, who is known for his love for football, took to Facebook to express his delight at hosting the two Kenyan footballers and revealed that they held discussions about the growth of soccer in Mombasa county.

"This weekend I had the honour of hosting brothers Victor Wanyama of Tottenham Hotspur FC and McDonald Mariga of Latina Calcio FC, their mother and siblings for dinner.

"We discussed a variety of things including the potential and growth of youth football in Mombasa. These two Harambee Star players' life story of humble beginnings, persistence, discipline and hard work...," read Joho's post.
