The government has created a website in honor of the late Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Nkaissery.
The website (www.Nkaissery.or.ke) was created to allow Kenyans pay their tribute to the Late CS and pass condolence messages to the family.
Health Cabinet Secretary Cleopa Mailu who is also the Chairperson of the funeral committee stated that the website will also provide Kenyans with a platform to follow funeral and burial arrangements.
The CS, however, raised concerns over what he termed as alarming statements over the death, causing unnecessary tension.
“We have noted with great concern the presence of alarming statements, that have heightened tensions unnecessarily in the country both in social and mainstream media,” he said.
“Some of these comments have not only infringed upon the memory of the departed but also greatly distressed family, friends, and relatives who are already mourning.”
Nkaissery's burial is scheduled for Saturday but it will be preceded by a memorial service on Thursday at the Nairobi Baptist Church.
The Late CS died last Saturday at Karen Hospital Nairobi.
Pathologist's reports stated that Nkaiserry died after suffering from a heart attack.
